McDonald’s stock jumps on rumor of hedge-fund stake
OAK BROOK, Ill. - Shares in McDonald's Corp. settled 2.3 percent higher Friday after hitting a new 52-week high on rumors that hedge fund Pershing Square Capital Management has bought a 4.9 percent stake in the fast-food company.
